Occasionally, you may be required to hire off-roster "permit" employees. Be sure these employees have the skill and training to do the job you ask them to do. Whenever possible, have off-roster employees work with experienced personnel. All new employees should be given to read Form 1 - General Safety Guidelines and sign the attached Acknowledgment Form.
Also, appropriate Tool Box Talks or Codes of Practices specific to the work being done should be reviewed with these employees.
